Dance Portfolio
Bridget is a versatile professional dancer, choreographer, performer, and trainer based in Queens, NY. Her 20 year dance background started in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Reggaetón, Dancehall, and Brazilian funk. She then trained extensively in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, West African, Latin, House, Heels and Commercial dance after getting a scholarship to Loyola Marymount University’s Dance program in Los Angeles. Bridget then taught Hip Hop and Contemporary dance while living in New York and Santiago, Chile, while completing her Bachelor’s Degree at Syracuse University. She trained and performed throughout Chile until 2016, when Bridget moved to New York City. Since then, Bridget has taught dance for 9 years in studios, schools, nonprofits, gyms, and family centers, and won the Martha Graham Summer Scholarship in 2017. She has performed at Barclay’s Center for the NBA Brooklyn Nets and the Harlem Globetrotters, at Citifield for the MLB NY Mets, Mark Morris Dance Center, Roulette, and SOB’s; and has worked with celebrity artists including Madonna. Her mission as a dance teacher is to create a warm and safe environment for dancers to learn, feel empowered, find their style, and tap into their own unique essence. Her goal is to continue using dance as a medium for light, love, community, and as a celebration of culture and positive social change in the world.
